Google Day 3/ Presentation


  • there are 2.5 million nurses according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics\
  • there are many different kinds of nurses, and several different ways to obtain this career, this career comes with broad scope of responsibility
  • nurses work closely or with physicians/doctors, doctors make the decisions about diagnosis, treatment , and medications and the nurses have to give the patient or administer him on a daily basis with what the doctor requested for the person to heal/recuperate successfully
  • nurses must have social skills well they interact more with the patient so that they can make them feel safe, and assist them in any way they can 
  • there are three educational paths toward becoming a nurse: diploma from an accredited nursing program or hospital, an associate degree in nursing, or a bachelor's degree. Most people choose the bachelors degree or the associate degree, the diplomas have become a path rarely chosen due to the availability and diversity of both the degrees 
  • nurses work almost anywhere a doctor does: hospitals, doctors offices, clinics, hospice, emergency rooms, intensive care, government agencies, corporations and more like schools and home healthcare
  • nurses can also specialize n a specific area of healthcare like: cardiac, pediatric, oncology or any medical specialty.
